Terms
The understanding between us.
Plainly written, so that nothing about joining an Entre Nous gathering comes as a surprise.

These terms govern your use of stayentrenous.com and the gatherings we organise. By using the site or submitting a form, you accept them. Where you book a place at a gathering, these terms apply together with the written booking confirmation you receive, which prevails if the two ever differ.
2. What we offer
Entre Nous organises small, curated gatherings for women — accommodation, selected meals, hosted experiences and the programme described for each edition. Numbers are intentionally limited. The descriptions and images on this site convey the spirit and intended content of a gathering; the final programme is confirmed to guests before it begins.
3. Expressing interest is not a booking
Submitting the interest, waitlist or contact form creates no obligation on either side and no reservation. It begins a conversation. We read every submission personally and will usually reply to arrange a short conversation to get to know you.
4. Curation and admission
Because the experience depends on the room, places are offered at our discretion, with the aim of composing a group that works well together. We may decline or withdraw an offer of a place, and we are not obliged to give reasons. Decisions are never made on the basis of any characteristic protected by law. Guests must be at least 18 years old.
5. Prices, booking and payment
The price of a place, what it includes, and the payment schedule — including any deposit and the balance due date — are set out in writing before you commit, and a place is confirmed only once we have received the agreed payment and confirmed it to you. Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable. Unless stated otherwise, flights and other travel to and from the destination, travel insurance, visa costs and personal expenses are not included.
6. Changes and cancellation
The cancellation and transfer terms for each edition are shared with you during the booking process, before any payment is required, and form part of your booking confirmation.
Occasionally we must change an element of a gathering — a venue, a host, an experience or a date. Where a change is minor we will simply tell you. Where a change is significant, or where we have to cancel an edition, you may transfer your place to another edition or receive a refund of the amounts you have paid for the cancelled gathering. Our responsibility in that situation is limited to those amounts; we cannot reimburse flights or other arrangements you have made independently, which is why we ask every guest to hold travel insurance.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory cancellation or refund right you have as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law.
7. Travel insurance, health and responsibility for yourself
Every guest is required to hold travel insurance covering cancellation, medical care and repatriation for the duration of the gathering. You are responsible for your own valid passport, visas and any health requirements for the destination. Please tell us in advance about allergies, dietary requirements, medical conditions or accessibility needs so we can host you properly; we cannot be responsible for consequences of information we were not given.
8. Conduct
These gatherings rest on discretion and mutual respect. What is shared in conversation stays between those present. We ask guests to treat one another, our hosts, our partners and the properties we use with care, and to follow reasonable house rules. We may ask a guest to leave a gathering, without refund, in cases of behaviour that is unlawful, unsafe, or seriously disruptive to the group.
9. Partners and third-party suppliers
Some elements of a gathering are delivered by independent suppliers — accommodation owners, guides, practitioners, restaurants and transport providers. We select them with care and remain your point of contact throughout. Their own terms may apply to the services they provide, and we are not liable for acts or omissions outside our reasonable control.
10. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for failure to perform where it is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, extreme weather, fire, epidemic, strike, civil unrest, terrorism, or acts of public authorities. In such cases we will offer a transfer or a refund of amounts paid for the affected gathering, as set out in section 6.
11. Liability
We provide our services with the care and diligence you would expect. To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a gathering is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Intellectual property and images
The name Entre Nous, the texts, photographs and design of this site belong to Stay Entre Nous, Unipessoal Lda or are used with permission, and may not be reproduced without our written consent. Photography sometimes takes place at gatherings; we ask consent before using an image in which a guest is identifiable, and consent may be refused or later withdrawn.
13. The site itself
We keep the site accurate and available as best we can, without guaranteeing that it is uninterrupted or free of error. Content here is offered for information and does not constitute a binding offer until confirmed in writing.
14. Complaints, governing law and disputes
If something is not right, write to anna@stayentrenous.com and we will address it directly — this is a small company and complaints reach the founder.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Cascais, Portugal have jurisdiction. As a consumer, you may also refer a dispute to an alternative dispute resolution entity or, for online purchases within the EU, use the European Commission's dispute resolution platform. Consumers may additionally submit a complaint through Portugal's electronic complaints book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here on the date you submit a form or make a booking. The date above shows when this version was published.
